For over 40 years, Mercy Ships has built relationships with various organizations and companies that contribute financially, and/or with goods and services, to provide medical services directly to the population of underdeveloped countries, train local healthcare professionals, and develop infrastructure and sustainable development projects.

It is proven and evident that employees enjoy working for companies that “give back” to society, and customers prefer to support companies that make a difference in this world. There are several ways in which companies can engage Mercy Ships in their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.

They can contribute their own services or products to aid many more people. Another way is by encouraging their employees to volunteer with us and providing them with the opportunity to collaborate, even without the need to use their annual vacations, or giving them a few hours each week to contribute their skills.

Some companies provide information to their employees about the work of our NGO by offering much employee donations.

Triple the Effectiveness

Generally, for every euro donated in cash, Mercy Ships receives an additional €2 in donations of products and services, allowing the NGO to triple its effectiveness in the field.

Tax Benefits for Donating

The company can deduct 40% of donations, the percentage that increases to 50% from the second year of collaboration.

Improves the company’s image and the bonds it has with customers, suppliers, and partners.

Ease of Access to Financing

Ethical and transparent practices enhance credibility in markets and facilitates access to financing.

Goods and Services

Collaborating companies contribute with their own products and services, allowing the NGO to save millions of EUR each year and thus enabling Mercy Ships to reach many more people in need.
