Global Mercy houses 102 intensive care beds, 7 ICU/isolation beds, and another 90 self-care beds. The hospital area covers approximately 7,000 square meters and includes dedicated classroom/conference spaces as well as simulator laboratories for more effective training.
The admission and triage room is the first stop potential patients make aboard our ship. There, volunteers evaluate patients to ensure they are candidates for surgery.
Our new ship features 6 operating rooms where our volunteer doctors will transform lives through reconstructive surgery, tumor removal, cleft lip repair, orthopedic surgery, cataract removal and much more.
